Hino announces organisational changes

Dimitri Andreatidis has been appointed by Hino Australia to the newly created role of Head of Customer and Brand. He will oversee Marketing and Hino Australia’s Customer Experience, which will operate under the one department the commercial vehicle manufacturer announced today.

Andreatidis has held the role of Hino Australia National Marketing Manager since September 2017.

The organisational changes, according to Bill Gillespie, General Manager for Brand and Franchise Development, signal an increased focus on Hino’s part to serve its customers.

“This is a vital change for Hino as we seek to combine our Customer Experience direction with greater synergy between our overall Sales Customer and Marketing areas,” he said.

In an additional development, Hino has appointed Brian Wright as National Sales Manager.

Wright and Andreatidis will commence their new roles from 2 July.

“The sales area has grown significantly in 2018 and we aim to continue that growth in both retail sales and in the highly competitive area of fleet sales in 2018 and beyond,” said Gillespie.

Under the organisational changes, a new role for an Applications Engineer has also been created as Hino Australia plans for the introduction of new models in the coming years.

“This expansion will ensure further support to our dealer network and ensure that Hino can respond to the contemporary customer’s expectations on product development,” he said.
