Logistics company Linfox has reportedly placed its largest-ever order for MHE forklifts with Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA).
The delivery will be fulfilled across Australia with a mixture of Toyota forklifts, BT pallet movers and Raymond high lift reach trucks.
The order contains a high proportion of three and four wheel electric forklifts, drawn from the latest 8-Series range.
TMHA executive director, Steve Takacs, says its common ownership by of all three forklift brands – Raymond, BT and Toyota – is a big factor in streamlining the supply and importantly the service chain.
The Linfox order is weighted towards Toyota’s battery electric forklifts, a move which is said to lead an industry-wide trend, through the growing availability of clean energy.
