Speaking at the NBN launch in Brunswick, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said “It is fitting to also acknowledge that today the iAwards are being held, which recognise Australia’s best digital innovators.”
The iAwards honours companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation as
well as leading professionals across the industry. Most importantly, the iAwards honours the achievements of Australian innovators. The second phase of judging is at a National Level, and is a technical review by judges made up of previous iAward winners and ICT industry professionals, who assess all nominations to select National Winners. Selection was based on the inspiring nature of the candidates, as well as meeting award criteria. Judges look for solutions that catch their imagination and attention.
