Vaughan Constructions partnered with leading international freight logistic company, IFC Global Logistics, to deliver a new state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution centre.
Located on Kurrajong Road, Prestons NSW, the new facility boasts an 8,787m² warehouse and 375m² of office space and amenities.
The purpose-built facility supports IFC Global Logistics for future growth and allows for significantly expanded operations.
Delivered under a Design and Construct contract, the project required the Vaughan team run a highly organised site.
With construction occurring on three title boundaries, there had to be careful consideration of the three neighbouring sites. Vaughan built a close relationship with neighbouring land owners to coordinate site access and ensure the construction process caused minimal disruption.
Vaughan Managing Director Andrew Noble attended the opening ceremony, which was officially opened by the Hon. Melinda Pavey, Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight, and expressed his delight with the completed project and the partnership between Vaughan and IFC Global.
“Vaughan Constructions and IFC Global Logistics both aim to deliver superior customer service. It is fantastic to partner with a like-minded organisation because you know the end result is going to be exceptional. Vaughan is proud to deliver a facility that supports IFC Global and ensures they continue to lead the way in the logistics arena, offering customised and dynamic end-to-end solutions,” Andrew said.
A national builder, Vaughan Constructions add this facility to their robust portfolio of successfully completed projects. Find out more: https://www.vaughans.com.au/projects.
